• Student Success Program goals are to guide students to build capacity and develop a foundation to succeed while gaining access to opportunities that include but are not limited to:

• Social Networking for Academic, Career and Personal Success

• Assessment to identify and prioritize student need
  

• Program components link education, student awareness and social action through:

• Summer Internships

• Programs to improve students’ social, political, civic, and economic awareness

• Connect learning to civic awareness, social conscience, and social responsibility

• Development student self-sufficiency to advocate for their community’s best interest

• Increase functional citizenship by developing real life skills; personal finance, home purchase, car buying, family planning, career planning, savings and investment

• Networking to attach students to “Opportunity Mentors” in their field of interest through formal and informal non-traditional structured programs.

• 5-Day College and cultural enrichment tour to include visits to public and private college’s and universities
